Beng Mealea: Temple In The Jungle Siem Reap -Cambodia

Beng Mealea Temple is place for praying to Hindu deities and Vishnu denominations during Angkorain. It was building by King Suyaramarn II in the end of 11th century and early of 12th century.
Landing Area is 14​ hectares, that has Length  1200meter and width 900meter. Location is about 77km away from city center of Siem Reap. You also can go by Remork (around 2hours to there), by Car (about 1hour and half). That staying in Beng Mealea Village, Svay Ler district, at the east of Kulen Mountain. Over there has restaurant for foreigner or local.

Beng Mealea is similar building to Angkor Wat also but samller in size of Angkor. Mostly is building by Sandstone. Beng Mealea is oriented toward the est, but has entrance ways from the other three cardinal direction.
